Hello and welcome!

My name is Riley Walker Adams, I own and run RWA woodworks. I make high quality furniture and built-ins from solid wood and, when appropriate, composite materials like plywood using both traditional and modern joinery methods to meet the requirements of your budget.

I believe furniture should be more than just “kind of there” in the room, I believe the objects that inhabit our everyday lives and give utility and structure to our homes should have a story more meaningful and interesting behind them than “we got it at Target”.

I enjoy building objects from raw materials, but more important is the client’s connection with the object, because it adds a little joy to your daily routine to eat breakfast at a table that you love, or to put away your clothes in the wardrobe you always pictured. These objects can be capable of providing satisfaction in the mundane moments of life that normally pass by uninterrupted.
